UT offensive lineman facing felony theft charge, has been suspended

Tennessee Volunteers offensive lineman Coleman Thomas was arrested Wednesday and charged with theft of items valued between $500 and $1,000, a felony charge according to the Associated Press. Thomas was released on a $2,000 bond and has been suspended from all team activities.

A resident of a campus dorm told police that an XBox and three games valued at a total of $640 were stolen from his room March 13, just before Tennessee's spring break. According to police, a search of online records showed the XBox and games were sold to a local gaming store that same evening.

Thomas will be a sophomore next season and he's played at both the tackle and center positions in spring practice, starting five games at right tackle. He appeared in 11 of UT's 13 games as a freshman last season.
