For those who don't know, Speed is known for streaming on Twitch and has surprised many with his athletic ability. That is to say, the most popular YouTuber Mr. Beast thought it would be a good idea to organize a race and challenge Lyles and Speed to race for $100k.

The well-known streamer was heard telling Lyles, "Noah, Noah race me, race me! I need to prove the world I'm the fastest fan alive. And I need to race you, where you at?"

After agreeing to drive three hours from Miami to Orlando, Speed said to the Olympian, "I promise Imma beat you bro. My name is Speed for a reason."

Lyles responded, "That's what they all say bruh."

Mr. Beast pointed out to Speed, "If you beat him, you would be the fastest person on earth."

They indeed met for the race, and it was surprisingly very close, as they even needed assistance from video replay.

IShowSpeed kept yelling, "That was a tie!"

However upon further review, it looked like Lyles won by half a second.

Speed wanted to race again, but it appeared that Lyles was happy to take the winnings and go home.

The 27-year-old track star mentioned to him that they can race again in July at the U.S. Nationals which will take place in Eugene, Oregon.
