Dorsey made the announcement during an official visit to Champaign.

Though a three-star, Dorsey had some major offers as evidenced by his offers from LSU, Florida State, and Baylor. The big tight end will have a chance to make an impact with Illinois thanks to his size, and after a 3-9 season this year, the Illini could definitely use the talent.

Dorsey is the 19th commitment for Illinois’s 2017 class.
