Florida State loses lineman for extended period of time after awful injury

He was set to start his career this season with the Seminoles.

It looks like Florida State will be taking a hit along its offensive line depth as freshman center Brady Scott will reportedly miss about two months of action. He was involved in a scooter accident and broke his foot, but it was initially reported that he crashed the vehicle.

Scott is disputing exactly how it went down as he says he did not crash his scooter and clarified what happened.

Scott is a freshman who was not expected to play a whole lot this season, but it looks like a redshirt has become much more likely because of the injury. He was originally a three-star member of the 2017 class for Jimbo Fisher and the Seminoles. He chose FSU over the likes of Georgia Tech, Wake Forest and Mississippi State. He also had a baseball scholarship offer to play at South Carolina.
