Justin Fields is the top-ranked dual threat quarterback in the class of 2018 and he was a Penn State commit until June 6 when he opened up his recruitment again. Florida State and Penn State are believed to be two of the favorites right now as he said they could be the “best fits” for him on the depth chart offensively. It seems he might be hinting at a future destination as he is taking an unscheduled visit to Tallahassee.

Nole Gameday is reporting that he will be on campus Tuesday and Wednesday. The Seminoles are believed to be fighting Auburn, Georgia and Florida for Fields as Nole Gameday mentioned in its story as well. This visit could set them apart and it might give them a head start on his recruitment.

Fields is ranked as the top dual threat quarterback in the country and No. 3 overall recruit by the 247Sports Composite Rankings. The 6’3″, 221-pound QB out of Kennesaw, Ga. has 21 predictions on his 247Sports crystal ball with 52 percent of them belonging to the Gators right now.
