Big hit causes chunk of paint to chip off of Oklahoma State player's helmet

Oklahoma State got a 30-22 win over Washington in last night's Cactus Bowl, and one player lost some of the paint on his helmet in the process.

James Castleman, a defensive tackle, got a couple of opportunities to line up on offense in the bowl game, and even to catch a pass. He made the defender pay for trying to tackle him, running through him, but helmet to helmet contact chipped off a chunk of paint from Castleman's helmet.

I don't think I've ever seen a hit take off a giant chunk of paint like that, but luckily no one seemed to be hurt — although I'm sure it couldn't have felt good for either party involved.
