Four-star and 6'5" DE Dorian Hardy now down to five schools

Well that is definitely narrower compared to his previous list.

Dorian Hardy is one of the bigger and more athletic defensive ends in the class of 2018 as he stands 6'5" but only weighs 245 pounds. That makes him a prized recruit, especially with the schools near his hometown of Paramus, N.J. In fact, he has over 20 offers including some from Clemson, Alabama, Florida, Miami and LSU.

However, he has only five schools right now that are sticking out to him and they are all in the northern part of the country. This is what he told Scout:

"Right now I'm talking a lot to Pittsburgh, Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan, Rutgers, and a few others," Hardy said. "Those stick out to me right now."

All of those schools are in the Big Ten with the exception of Pittsburgh who is now a member of the ACC. All are pretty close to his home as well so that seems to have played a factor in where he feels comfortable. Hardy has yet to put a timeline on his commitment so this list could very well change before he fully decides on where he wants to go to school.

Here's some of his highlights:
