It’s been a bad couple of days for Hugh Freeze on the recruiting trail.

After four-star linebacker Willie Gay announced his decommitment on Monday, Ole Miss suffered another blow as four-star defensive end Bryan Jones (6-foot-5, 240 pounds, Baton Rouge, LA) announced the same on Tuesday.

It wasn’t long after he announced the decommit that Jones announced that he had received an offer from Oklahoma.

Oklahoma is now considered one of the favorites to land Jones, along with Texas and LSU. Jones is rated as a four-star recruit and the No. 11 overall defensive end in the 2017 class by Rivals.com.
