247Sports recently released the latest rankings for the 2018 recruiting classes, and the leader isn't named Ohio State or Alabama. The top school according to 247Sports are Florida State, who holds five verbal commitments from four-stars, including four-star offensive lineman Christian Meadows who announced his verbal commitment to FSU on Thursday. Behind FSU is Miami, who has seven commits for the class of 2018. Notre Dame checks in at No. 3 and Michigan is at fourth
It's obviously still very early in the recruiting process for these 2018 kids, but FSU already having six verbal commitments is a positive start this early in the cycle.
