Report: Texas players threatening to take serious action in wake of Strong's firing

Could they really do it?

Charlie Strong has publicly said that Texas will wait until after the TCU game this weekend to evaluate him and his staff. However, several other reports have already suggested that Strong has been fired and Texas is just keeping him on for the TCU game for the sake of continuity.

Amid the rumors that Strong has/is being fired, some of the players are threatening to boycott the game against TCU this weekend. That's according to a source close to the program that has spoken with Hook 'Em who has also said that upperclassmen on the team are intervening and trying to calm the waters.

Charlie Strong also heard about the potential boycott and has made it clear what he thinks about it:

And if the players want to respect their coach's potential last wishes then it looks like this uprising has been quelled before it can begin.
