According to Fox Sports, top recruiter and Alabama co-defensive coordinator Tosh Lupoi is expected to remain with the Crimson Tide.

Alabama has already lost major assistants Lane Kiffin and Mario Cristobal in the past few weeks, and they were reportedly on the verge of losing of losing Lupoi as well.

Lupoi played under Cal head coach Justin Wilcox when both were at Cal in the early 2000s. Lupoi has since worked at Cal, Washington, and Alabama.

He’s reportedly turned down a handful of opportunities to leave Alabama, including a reported offer from former Cal head coach Sonny Dykes when he coached the Golden Bears.

With Alabama bleeding talent, Nick Saban finally gets a win by keeping Lupoi.
