Florida’s offense has been absolutely awful to watch this season and has been especially atrocious the last few games against Arkansas, Georgia, Missouri and Vanderbilt. The Gators have been averaging almost 400 total yards a game this season, but only have 1,191 rushing yards in seven games.
That has led to some complaints from fans about the lack of creativity in the offensive play-calling. It’s also led to fans calling for one of the four running backs to become a permanent starter and the primary workhorse. This particular number has only made the screams louder:
This was against a defense that allowed over 500 yards on the ground two weeks ago against Auburn. Naturally, that will make some people upset and will have a lot of questions circling around Doug Nussmeier and Jim McElwain’s offense heading into the South Carolina game this season.
