As for Myles Brennan, LSU’s most recent decommit and the No. 10 overall pro-style quarterback, Tagovailoa’s family reportedly reached out to encourage the quarterback to stick around at LSU if Kiffin jumps ship after this season.

“The Tagovailoas are family friends with the Brennans, and they just wanted to let them know that Tua wasn’t considering LSU and if Kiffin was to be the next offensive coordinator for the Tigers, they should give him a chance because he has the ability to run an offensive with either a pro-style or dual-threat quarterback.”

The decommit comes after LSU recently offered Alabama quarterback commit Tua Tagovailoa. When that happened, Brennan was reportedly contacted by several other schools, and his decommit followed shortly after.

Brennan later clarified and said he was not officially decommitting:

Brennan had been committed to LSU since April. 247Sports now lists Oklahoma State as the likely favorite to land the Top 10 quarterback.
