Top safety recruit Brendon Harris (6-foot-1, 205 pounds, Chattanooga, Tenn.) announced his commitment on Friday, and it looks like he will be just a short drive up the Interstate from home.

The four-star recruit of the 2018 class revealed in a Twitter video that he had committed to Tennessee over Auburn, Clemson, Florida, and LSU.

The plus about Harris is that he has potential to play straight away during his freshman season at the next level. We will have to see how his coverage skills translate once he gets to college, but at 6-foot-1 and 205 pounds, Harris is already at a good size for a safety.

Tennessee now has 10 commitments for their 2018 recruiting class, and 247Sports has their class currently ranked at No. 7 in the nation.
