The Tennessee freshman running back sensation was "arrested by citation" this month for underage drinking, which means he was arrested with the intention of being booked later. The arrest took place on December 3rd and he has an arraignment set for January 20th. A spokesman for the Knox County District Attorney's office did not respond to a request for information about whether Hurd faced any criminal charges. There has been no word from the team on his status for the upcoming Tax Slayer bowl or if he will even practice with the team. Hurd was the leading rusher for the Vols with 777 yards.
