The Dallas Cowboys had a chance to ice the game Sunday evening against the Green Bay Packers, but instead Aaron Rodgers and Co. will be heading to Atlanta for next week’s NFC Championship game.

After the contest ESPN’s Trey Wingo pointed to the one moment that truly threw Dallas’ comeback off track.

Rodgers in crunchtime is lethal, and the inexperienced Prescott simply rushed the drive, spiking the ball with 50 seconds remaining on about the 50 yard line.

The ball was about two yards away from Dan Bailey’s 56-yard range (his career-high) and Dallas certainly had the time to set up a quick out or some two-minute drill play.

Instead, the inexperienced Cowboys will be left wondering what if waiting for next season.
