In a shocker Monday, former Hernandez associate Carlos A. Ortiz is expected to change his plea from not guilty to guilty, where he will reportedly admit he was with Hernandez during the shooting of Lloyd, per Boston Globe.
It's a crucial blow to the Hernandez team, who appeared to be prepping for a run to get out of jail.
Ortiz reportedly accepted a plea deal, but details were not provided.
