Clippers reportedly offered Blake Griffin in exchange of four players

What a trade offer.

After Los Angles Clippers forward Blake Griffin broke his hand on a team employee's face, the electric player has been linked to trade rumors, specifically with the Denver Nuggets.

Just days later, a separate report comes from ESPN's Chris Broussard, via Pro Basketball Talk.

"I was told that the Clippers actually called Denver and offered Blake Griffin and Lance Stephenson for Danilo Gallinari, Kenneth Faried, Nikola Jokic and Will Barton. And Denver turned it down.

Doc Rivers, I talked to him about that very deal. He said not true. There's no way Blake's getting traded."

There's a ton of information to digest here.

If the Clippers did get the Nuggets to agree to something like this, that would be a Carmelo Anthony-style haul for Griffin. Gallinari and Faried have both seen standout seasons, while Jokic and Barton have emerged as up-and-comers.

Griffin is a free agent in 2017 and he should command a nice chunk of change after the new tv money comes into play.

This trade deadline is offering more hype than recent years and it should only get hotter as we get closer.
