While Lamar Jackson won the Heisman trophy this year, he is not eligible to enter the NFL Draft. That has left many analysts wondering if he is truly a better quarterback than Clemson's Deshaun Watson. Watson is likely to be the first QB taken in this year's Draft and he has a clear skill set that the pros like; he can sling the ball, he stands up tall in the pocket and can scramble when needed.

Leading up to this year's Draft, Sports Illustrated caught up with some ACC coaches who saw both guys in action and there was one coach who was not particularly fond of Jackson's skills or future. He completely trashed Jackson right after he compared Watson to Jameis Winston.
"Watson has a chance to be at least as good as Winston," he said. "We played he and Lamar Jackson, and Jackson has no shot at playing quarterback in the NFL. None. He can't make the throws and can't read coverages. He's not going to have a chance. Watson stands tall in the pocket and whips the ball around like Ben Roethlisberger."

Jackson was exposed a bit against LSU in the Citrus Bowl where he only completed 10 of his 27 passes for 153 yards and no touchdowns. He also needed 26 carries to get 33 yards on the ground in that game. If he can move on from that game and prove he's able to read coverages and make the throws then this kind of talk will undoubtedly dissipate next year.
