Kent State senior safety Nate Holley has been suspended indefinitely from the football team after he was charged with first-degree felony kidnapping. According to the Record Courier, the alleged incident involved a female and took place this past Thursday.
Holley’s preliminary hearing is set for Thursday, only a week after the alleged incident took place and he is supposed to be arraigned today (Monday).
Holley leads the nation in solo tackles per game with 8.9 and has a total of 111 tackles (80 of them solo) on the season. He also had a sack, 4.5 tackles for loss and a fumble recovery on the season. Holley is a two-time First Team All-Mid-American Conference player the past two seasons.
