ESPN just made the most out-of-nowhere addition to its coverage team

Can't wait for November 11!

Former Kentucky Wildcat, NCAA National Champion and NBA champion Antoine Walker will join ESPN's SEC Network as an in-studio analyst for the 2016-17 season, per ESPN PR.

"Antoine has reached the pinnacle of basketball achievement at both the collegiate and professional level. His unique perspective and knowledge of both the conference and the sport will be an excellent addition to our SEC Now show," said ESPN senior coordinating producer Tom McCollum.

Walker won the the 1996 NCAA National Championship with Kentucky before he was selected No. 6 overall by the Boston Celtics. Walker was a member of the All-Rookie Team, a three-time All-Star and an NBA champion as a member of the Miami Heat.

Walker will reportedly make his on-air debut on November 11, college basketball's opening night.
