Florida could be without one of its best defenders the rest of the season

This would be a huge blow.

Florida has been fairly fortunate when it comes to injuries this year, at least compared to Tennessee who's had 16 players lose games. However, the Gators could be taking a big loss on the defensive line that's been so dominant this season. On the SEC teleconference call, coach Jim McElwain hinted at the possibility of losing Bryan Cox Jr. for the season.

Cox was supposed to play against Missouri, but hurt his thumb in warmups. Cox was responsible for 14 tackles, two tackles for loss, a forced fumble and four QB hurries so far this season.
