Former UCLA quarterback Jerry Neuheisel is following in his father’s footsteps and beginning his career as a college football coach.
Neuheisel has been hired as a graduate assistant at Texas A&M, where he will assist his former offensive coordinator Noel Mazzone during his second year as the O.C. with the Aggies.
Neuheisel’s father, Rick, was the head coach at Colorado, Washington and UCLA, and he is now an analyst at CBS.
Jerry Neuheisel was mostly a backup at UCLA, and he threw for two touchdowns in three seasons with the Bruins before playing his final season in Japan.
