Four-star ATH Bruce Judson spurns all powerhouses for non-Power 5 school

This is major news for one team.

You don't see this happen too often.

Four-star athlete Bruce Judson (5-foot-9, 203 pounds, Cocoa, FL) raised some eyebrows on Wednesday, as he announced his commitment to South Florida over teams like Alabama and Florida.

South Florida also picked up three-star athlete Demetri Burch and three-star wide receiver Emare Hogan with Judson.

You may remember Judson for his high-profile decommit from Ohio State last year. Judson reportedly decommitted from the Buckeyes after head coach Urban Meyer couldn't remember his name.

Judson is by far the highest-rated commitment of USF's 2017 class, which is now up to 12 members after picking up all three recruits on Wednesday. Assuming Judson stays true to his commitment, he could quickly become one of the top players in the American Athletic Conference in 2017. He had those big offers for a reason, perhaps the most obvious being the 4.41 he ran in the 40-yard dash.

USF better hope they can hold one to this one.
