Georgia running back given release to transfer

Where will he go next?

Georgia has always appeared to have a stable of running backs at the ready. Even when star back Nick Chubb went down last year, the Bulldogs still had Sony Michel and Keith Marshall.

With Chubb and Michel returning, along with incoming recruit Elijah Holyfield, the Georgia backfield is simply running out of room. That's why junior running back A.J. Turman has apparently asked and received a release for transfer.

Turman is a former four-star running back recruit out of the state of Florida. He had some injury issues in his career at Georgia, and the Bulldogs' depth at running back meant that Turman not got to see time in the regular season.

The 20-year old has made no indication to which school he may transfer to.
