We get the feeling that some fans — cough, Washington — might prefer the BCS Standings right about now when compared to Tuesday night's Playoff rankings.
The website BCS Know How is keeping the old BCS formula alive, and on Tuesday, they compared what the Playoff rankings looked like compared to how the BCS would rank were it still used.
The biggest difference can be seen immediately: Washington would be No. 4 in the BCS instead of A&M, who is at No. 4 in the Playoff rankings. Meanwhile, the Aggies take quite the tumble in the BCS to No. 7; that would put them behind Ohio State and Louisville.
Another major difference is Western Michigan. The undefeated leaders of the MAC would be sitting pretty at No. 13 in the BCS, while the Playoff committee ranked them a lowly No. 23 on Tuesday night. The Broncos responded with a 52-20 beatdown of Ball State in some Tuesday night #MACtion.
