It looks like the hottest free agent on the college transfer market is nearing a decision.

According to USA Today, former Baylor quarterback and five-star recruit Jarrett Stidham hopes to have made a transfer decision by next week. Stidham didn't name any top schools, but he is expected to choose between Auburn and Florida. Texas A&M may also be in the mix, but they haven't received as much publicity.

Stidham has already visited Auburn several times, and the Tigers are currently the heavy favorites. Both Florida and Auburn are in dire need at the quarterback position, and Stidham performed in his limited time at Baylor; he would be a great addition to either team.

The 6-foot-3 Stidham was ranked as the No. 1 dual-threat quarterback of the 2015 class by the 247 individual player rankings. Stidham transferred after his freshman season at Baylor due to the firing of Art Briles. Stidham will be eligible for the 2017 season and he will have three years of college football remaining.
