Jordy Nelson is going to try to play today with a very painful injury

The first time he gets hit, it's going to sting something fierce.

Jordy Nelson, who suffered two fractured ribs just two weeks ago in a win over the New York Giants, is going to try to play in today's game against the Atlanta Falcons.

It's a big game, the NFC Championship, with the winner heading to  the Super Bowl to play New England or Pittsburgh, two teams that play tonight.

Nelson was hurt on this play, when he was crushed by Giants' cornerback Leon Hall:

But Nelson is going to give it a go, and he'll  have some help:

It doesn't matter what he's wearing. The first time he gets hit in those ribs, it's going to sting. It will be interesting to see how long he will last.
