Miami and West Virginia are no longer playing for just pride in the Russell Athletic Bowl on December 28th. The two schools are playing for the right to sign a recruit out of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Talk about a bowl game taking on real meaning. I don't think we've ever seen a recruit ever leave his decision up to a postseason game to make the ultimate choice for him.
