Saban and Kiffin parted ways after Alabama defeated Washington in the Peach Bowl, and Sarkisian — who had been an offensive analyst with the team — took over playcalling duties earlier this week.
Saban met with the media on Wednesday and said the transition has been smooth.
Saban said the players have responded "really well" to the change at offensive coordinator. "It's been excellent"

The offense likely won't look too different under Sarkisian, but Alabama might run the ball more against Clemson on Monday. Saban isn't likely to offer any more information, so the offense will be a surprise to everyone Monday night.
