LSU’s running attack has been a force to reckon with this season even when Leonard Fournette was unable to play thanks to Derrius Guice. He finished the regular season with 1,249 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns. He has a chance to add on to that against Louisville in the Citrus Bowl, but it looks like he might be switching positions soon.

However, he also tweeted this suggesting it may not be a total joke:

The sophomore is likely to go pro in 2018 if he plays as well or better next season, but that’s as a running back.  The 5’11”, 212-pounder may not exactly be suited to playing strong safety, but it could become a team need with its best safety in Jamal Adams likely jumping into the NFL Draft as well.
