It wasn't enough for the Florida-LSU game to get rescheduled and for everyone to get up in arms about which school was scared to play the game. It looks like the networks had quite the time fighting over who would get the rights to the game once it was rescheduled.

Gridiron Now is reporting that ESPN initially wanted the game to air at 4 p.m. EST on Saturday, which is usually the kickoff time for their premier SEC games. Usually the game is on CBS, but that all changed with the rescheduling of it. ESPN reportedly had first rights to the games on the SEC slate for this week and of course selected the makeup game over a slew of other mediocre options.

However, CBS put the kibosh on that time slot for ESPN as they said it would interfere with their Tennessee-Missouri telecast —- because apparently people were going to watch that. So now we're stuck with a noon kickoff, and an 11 a.m. kickoff for those in Baton Rouge, because the two football television powers couldn't get along.
