Report: FSU could be without star safety for several weeks

This doesn't bode well.

Florida State star safety Derwin James was carted off the field on Saturday against Charleston Southern with what looked like an ankle or knee injury. It was later confirmed that it was his knee and it was initially thought to be an ACL injury.

Those concerns have died down according to Tomahawk Nation as the severity of the injury seems to be less than an ACL tear. The site is also reporting that James is set to undergo surgery on Monday for a meniscus tear. Jimbo Fisher speaks at 1 p.m. in his weekly press conference so hopefully there will be more information at that time.
