The country's No. 9 ranked defensive tackle looks like he won't be Gainesville bound as we previously thought. Shavar Manuel (6-foot-4, 290 pounds, Bradenton, Fl.), who was verbally committed to Florida as early as Tuesday, announced he was decommitting to Florida on Wednesday morning, just a few hours away from his announcement.
Manuel, as recent as Tuesday, looked to be potentially wavering from his Florida pledge — he told ESPN's Derek Tyson that he was 50-50 between Florida and FSU, despite still technically being committed to Florida.
