UNLV freshman Stephen Zimmerman has decided to declare for the NBA Draft according to Jonathan Givony of The Vertical. The seven-footer is mocked to go somewhere late in the first round of this year's NBA Draft and he could probably benefit from another year in school, but he is hiring an agent.

That means he won't be able to take advantage of the new rule this year that allows players to return to school after the NBA Combine so long as they don't hire an agent. Some NBA executives believe that Zimmerman could move to the top half of the first round with a strong showing in workouts and the combine.

Zimmerman averaged 10.5 points and 8.7 rebounds for the Runnin' Rebels, who failed to reach the postseason.
