Tony Romo could reportedly cause a serious front office controversy

Injury-prone Romo certainly has the most experience.

While Dak Prescott has looked fantastic in six starts, going 5-1 and leading the Dallas Cowboys to one of the best records in football, the quarterback controversy between the rookie and veteran Tony Romo could come down to team owner Jerry Jones and head coach Jason Garrett, per Sportsday:

"Think it might come down to Jason vs. Jerry. Jason is a huge fan of Tony. Not saying Jerry isn't, but Jerry reads which way the wind blows very well. He knows momentum building with fans, media, everyone for Dak. And he knows the team hasn't looked this good in 20 years, in my estimation."

Prescott has tossed for nearly 1,500 yards, seven touchdowns and just one interception and has added a dynamic to the Cowboys offense the team was sorely missing.

Injury-prone Romo certainly has the most experience, but Prescott hasn't shown any signs of slowing no matter how big the stage gets. After a bye week, he'll look to continue rolling when he gets another start, this time against the Philadelphia Eagles.
