Michigan is one of the major teams on the bubble for the NCAA tournament, potentially needing to win the Big Ten tournament in order to make the field of 68.
Well, they got a huge lift on Friday, as the Wolverines were tied at 69 with No. 10 Indiana, who is the No. 1 seed in the Big Ten. With the last possession, Michigan got the ball over to Kameron Chatham in the corner. Chatham — who had only scored 69 points all season — hit the 3 at the buzzer to give Michigan the huge win and advancing them in the Big Ten tourney.
According to ESPN bracketologist Joe Lunardi, the win moved Michigan from "Next 4 Out" to "First 4 Out" in the tournament.
