Jim Harbaugh has had many detractors in his short time at Michigan. Many coaches are upset about his over-the-top antics, which have included a sleepover with a recruit, and the school holding spring practices at the IMG Academy in Florida.

Harbaugh's supporters among coaches have been few and far between, but he publicly gained the support of Baylor's Art Briles on Wednesday, with Briles describing Harbaugh as a man with "no ego".
Art Briles on visiting Jim Harbaugh: "Really refreshing. He's very humble. No ego. He's like me: he loves football, very passionate."

Both Harbaugh and Briles are guys who will say whatever they want without any regard to what others may think. They clearly get along, as Briles helped Harbaugh with his coach's clinic last week.
What would be interesting, though, is if the two were actually in competition with each other. The two seem to like each other, but if they were competing in-conference or with recruits like Harbaugh is doing with the SEC... would the public words still be as friendly?
Either way, Harbaugh is likely happy to have this support from a long-tenured coach.
