You won't believe what Kobe and MJ did on the exact same day, 8 years apart

This is insane that they did this on the same exact date.

On this day 21 years ago, Michael Jordan was a mere five games back from his one-year retirement from the NBA. After retiring from basketball in 1993 to try his hand at minor league baseball, Jordan was back in action with the Bulls in March of 1995 to give us one of the most memorable and historic back-from-retirement performances we've ever seen. On March 28, 1995, Jordan put up a whopping 55 points against the New York Knicks in his 5th game back from retirement, according to ESPN Stats & Info.

As crazy as it may seem, exactly two years later on the same day, another NBA legend — the Los Angeles Lakers' Kobe Bryant — put up 55 points against none other than Jordan and the Washington Wizards in 2003.

Talk about a spooky coincidence. Bryant will retire after this 2015-16 NBA season concludes, and shortly thereafter should be inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame, just as Jordan was in 2009.
