This will be unfamiliar territory for the Eagles as it is only their second top-2 pick in the Common Era.

It sounds like the Eagles are going to go after a quarterback as well and they made sure their newly signed ones were aware of that.

But they aren't going to deal Sam Bradford even though it very much looks like that might have been the plan in acquiring the second overall pick in this Draft.
The #Eagles aren't trading Sam Bradford. Instead, they created a situation where their rookie QB doesn't have to play for a year (or two).

This could mean that two quarterbacks will go back-to-back as the top picks and could be ta repeat of Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota from last year's draft. It should be fun to see how this Draft goes down in just about a week from now and hopefully this leads to more fireworks in the trade and draft department.
