The Jacksonville Jaguars got some huge help on defense when they selected former Florida State cornerback Jalen Ramsey with the No. 5 overall pick in Thursday night's NFL Draft. When NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell named off Ramsey as the selection from the podium, Jacksonville fans who were watching from Everbank Stadium went absolutely nuts.

Ramsey getting selected fifth overall apparently wasn't deemed a possibility for Jacksonville, who reportedly thought he'd be picked up by one of the first four teams in front of him
The #Jaguars talked to teams about trading back from No. 5. But they did not think FSU CB Jalen Ramsey would be available.

Ramsey can play both safety and cornerback, but he'll likely be used as a corner in Duval. ESPN's Jon Gruden had some harsh criticisms for his play as a safety during last night's draft that made some 'Nole fans a little unhappy. Regardless, I'd say Jacksonville fans are just a little excited with their team selecting Ramsey.
