One rookie is already "killing people" in practice, according to his coach

Fans of this kid should be extremely happy to hear this.

At least one NFL rookie is working hard already, as his coach is already needing him to calm down during rookie workouts.

According to AZ Central, Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians had high praise for defensive lineman Robert Nkemdiche of Ole Miss.

"He was killing people in walk-through," Arians told AZ Central. "I had to slow him down. It's a walk-through, and he bench-pressed a lineman already."

Bench-pressing a lineman sounds like quite the feat there, Mr. Nkemdiche.

Nkemdiche had some personal issues at Ole Miss, all of which culminated in him falling out of a hotel room window in Atlanta. Those issues were part of the reason Nkemdiche fell to the Cardinals with the No. 29 overall pick, as the defensive lineman was projected to go higher heading into the 2015 college football season.

The Cardinals had one of the better NFL defenses in 2015, so a motivated Nkemdiche could prove to be a huge pickup for them. We will have to wait and see, obviously, but being told to slow down in practices is a lot more encouraging that a player being told to rev it up.
