The Arizona State mascot jumped on the back of a city council official back in September unaware that he had back surgery just two months prior, leading to an injury settlement of $76,342, per AZCentral.

"I felt a pop in my lower back," Schapira wrote in his claim, per the report. "I tried to push Sparky off as my wife and others yelled to him to get off, but I needed the assistance of another council member, Joel Navarro, to get him off my back."
The councilman reportedly had a partial muscle tear in his back, forcing him to spend four days in the hospital.
Initially, the councilman sought $120,000 in damages.
