Former MMA fighter Steven Skinner, wanted in connection with two violent crimes, was arrested on a Venezuelan beach on Tuesday, according to City News.
Skinner has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the July, 2011 shooting death of a 20-year-old man in a rural community outside of Halifax, Nova Scotia. At the time of the shooting, Skinner was also awaiting trial after he was charged with torturing and confining a 66-year-old man. Authorities say the man was burned with hot spoons and knives. Skinner posted bail in that case.
Police is reportedly working to extradite Skinner back to Canada.
