Linebacker Marquis Hendrix and cornerback Donzale Roddie were expelled, and safety Darreon Jackson was suspended, the parents of the players confirmed. All three were redshirt freshmen.
No criminal charges have been filed against the players, but the players were subjects of a Title IX lawsuit since last fall. A female student reported that she was sexually assaulted on three separate occasions.
"Boise State is committed to thorough and fair investigations into all allegations of sexual misconduct—and to holding parties accountable when they are found to be responsible for violating the student code of conduct," Boise State spokesman Greg Hahn said on Wednesday. Hahn couldn't comment any further as federal privacy laws restrict the school from speaking of student records or any specific investigations.
The men denied forcing sexual contact upon the woman when they were interviewed in February by investigators.
