NBA Finals will get one last legendary Craig Sager appearance

Fantastic work by both ESPN and Turner Sports on this one.

Everyone thought they might have seen their favorite sideline reporter for the last time during the Western Conference Finals, but Craig Sager is back! Thanks to some cooperation between ESPN and Turner Sports, Doris Burke is letting Sager join her on the sidelines to call one last Finals game.

Here's what John Wildhack, who is the ESPN executive vice president of production and programming, had to say about bringing on Sager for Thursday's game:

"Craig is an iconic member of the NBA family who indelibly makes his mark on each and every broadcast. I know our entire team is delighted to work with Craig for Game 6. We all agree his professional reputation is second-to-none, though it's his personal reputation - that of class, selflessness and respect - which makes this even more special for our team. We hope that this will be a special night for Craig and for NBA fans. We are grateful for his interest and for the continued collaboration with our friends at Turner."

Since TNT has never had a Finals game, this will actually mark the first time Sager has gotten to work the event and that's something nobody will ever forget.
