Former Baylor commit, WR Hezekiah Jones, releases loaded new Top 8

The four-star wide receiver was committed to Baylor for almost a year.

Four-star wide receiver Hezekiah Jones (6-foot-0, 193 pounds, Stafford, Tx.) has narrowed his list of school offers to just eight. On Friday, the Nation's no. 17 ranked wideout released his top eight lists of schools — three SEC ones made the cut including Alabama, Auburn and Texas A&M. Other conferences that made it include the American, Pac-12 and Big Ten.

He was verbally committed to Baylor for almost a year, but announced his decommitment after the Briles fiasco unloaded late last month. Jones took an unofficial visit to Texas A&M in June, and was offered by Auburn as recently as April. 247Sports has Jones slated to go with Texas A&M with 57% of their Crystal Ball prediction, followed by Notre Dame at 29%.  We'll see who ends up with this kid — he's obviously a huge talent.
