Former Baylor commit, top dual-threat QB finally commits to a school

He finally pulled the trigger!

Kellen Mond has been keeping fans of several programs waiting all summer while he decided on where to go to school in 2017. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 3 dual-threat quarterback in their composite rankings. Mond did say there was a choice he was going to commit over the weekend and it looks like his prediction was just one day late.

The 6'3", 201-pound QB plays football for the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida but is originally from Texas. That was likely the key for Mond as he was originally committed to Baylor so moving out to College Station was probably a little easier than going to Auburn.
