The New York Jets defensive lineman pled guilty in January after Richardson was arrested in connection with a reported street race, where he allegedly was clocked at 143 mph, per St. Louis Post Dispatch.

Officers reportedly attempted to stop Richardson, when he drove away, exited off the highway and sped through traffic light before he parked in a driveway, where he was arrested with two adult men and a 12-year-old kid in the car. He also reportedly had a loaded semi-automatic handgun in the vehicle.

Richardson can return to the roster on September 12, following the team's season-opener. He can participate in all preseason practices and games, per Fox Sports.

Richardson received a four-game suspension just last season.
