Former five-star recruit and Mississippi State Bulldog Malik Newman has taken some visits and knows where he will transfer now. He took visits in seemingly all four corners of the United State and he is headed to Big 12 country.

Newman will have to sit out a year before he can play in the 2017-18 season, but he will help what should be a stacked Jayhawk team by then.
While KU doesn't have any recruits lined up for the 2017 class, there's still plenty of time to remedy that and you already know coach Bill Self is working the recruiting trail in hopes to find some good pieces to put around Newman when he becomes eligible.
